My Practice

My priority is to build a collaborative, supportive relationship with you so I can be by your side in what can be a challenging process. Sifting through uncomfortable thoughts and memories can be tough, and you might be unsure of how you’ll manage your responses, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’ll wade through with you and hold everything we find with curiosity instead of judgement.

I work to connect with your whole being in the context of your people and your environment. I'm an integrative therapist which means I integrate techniques from different approaches including person-centred, psychodynamic, existential and Gestalt therapy. We’ll explore your past while focusing on the impact it's having on your body and your emotions in the here and now. I’ll share my knowledge so you can empower yourself through psychoeducation and we'll find practical ways to bring about positive change.

There’s a lot of things I did before becoming a counsellor, but I’ve always been curious about different ways of existing. I suppose that comes from straddling various cultures and identities in my own life. Through my own personal counselling I was able to find my agency again and I knew that I wanted to extend that to others, so here I am. I started my training at Lewisham and Southwark College where I gained my certificates in Therapeutic Counselling and then went on to study my Counselling Diploma at Morley College. I've spent the last few years working with a few different organisations, currently focusing on The NAZ Project and Asha Projects.
